Bolder Futures is excited to welcome the newest cohort of the AI for Social Good Fellowship, a program sponsored by Micron and designed to help nonprofit and social impact leaders explore how they can use emerging technologies to strengthen organizations and advance community-centered solutions.
This year’s fellows are bringing a wide range of experiences across public health, food security, education, human rights, civic engagement, and community development. Their projects explore practical applications of AI, from strengthening data systems and organizational workflows to improving bilingual communications, expanding access to research, and reducing administrative burdens.
Most importantly, the cohort is approaching AI with an emphasis on responsible and ethical use that maintains human agency and human dignity. This year’s fellows are interested in developing tools and practices that prioritize privacy, cultural responsiveness, community voice, and human judgment.
Their aspirations reflect the potential of AI to help nonprofits operate more efficiently, while creating more time and capacity for the communities at the heart of their missions. From improving food distribution and health systems to strengthening nonprofit infrastructure and expanding research access, this cohort is exploring what it truly looks like to put emerging technology to work for social good.
